White Plains Hospital is hosting its 7th Annual Bowling for Bears fundraiser this winter.
Funds raised at the event will support the hospital’s pediatric programs, specifically by helping the hospital purchase teddy bears and other comfort items for children receiving treatment. The hospital staff find these items useful for relieving worry and taking patients’ minds off their illnesses during their time at the hospital. White Plains Hospital is a non-profit facility with 15 pediatric beds, along with a dedicated pediatrics area in the emergency room.
Tickets are available now through the hospital website. The cost is $75 per adult and $50 per child under 18. The ticket price includes bowling and shoe rentals, along with pizza and soda. The registration page also includes the option to donate or become a sponsor. Those interested in making an additional contribution or supporting the fundraiser without attending the event can purchase a set number of teddy bears or comfort kits.
Several sponsorship options are also available. The higher tiers include the business name on Signs throughout the event space. Event organizers often use banner printing services to feature sponsors at their events. Sponsorship rates also include tickets for the event.
The Bowling for Bears event will take place on Sunday, February 4 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bowlero in White Plains.
