Annual jazz festival to return to White Plains

The City of White Plains is partnering with the White Plains Business Improvement District and ArtsWestchester to host JazzFest once again.

The festival will include 15 performances from up-and-coming musicians, as well as Grammy-winning artists. The event is designed to make jazz accessible to everyone in the community, so most of the concerts are free to attend. Arts organizations often use Graphic Design Services to create digital Flyers for their events.

JazzFest will begin with two free Wednesday afternoon shows, followed by Jazz Stroll on Wednesday evening. Jazz Stroll includes three hour-long sets from different artists, each at a different downtown restaurant. Thursday evening will feature one of the paid concerts. Louis Hayes Quartet will perform outdoors at White Plains Plaza. The $65 ticket price includes a three-course dinner. Tickets can be purchased on ArtsWestchester’s website.

Both free and paid performances will continue on Friday and Saturday. The festival will end on Sunday will a day-long outdoor jazz and food festival on Mamaroneck Ave. This event will be free to attend and feature seven hours of music from performers including Endea Owens and The Cookout, Chien Chien Liu, and Mike Phillips.

JazzFest will take place from Wednesday, September 6 through Sunday, September 10 at various locations in White Plains. The complete schedule is available on ArtsWestchester’s website.
