Wappingers Falls holds two contrasting January events
The Wappingers Falls River Valley Arts Center will be holding an evening of murder mystery mayhem, and Carnwath Farms Lane will hold its Second Annual Seed Swap in January.
The River Valley Arts Center, 9 S Mesier Avenue will be presenting I Love the 80's To Death: A Rockin' Radical Night of Mystery an evening of backstage secrets and clues for guests to solve the interactive murder mystery.
The Jessica Experience will be catering hors d'oeuvres, and a cash bar will have beverages.
Tickets are $52 per person.
The I Love the 80's To Death: A Rockin' Radical Night of Mystery will take place from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, January 11th.
In celebration of National Seed Swap Day, seasoned gardeners and garden neophytes will want to attend the Carnwath Farms Second Annual Seed Swap. Guests may bring seeds to trade or just get some to take home.
Seeds may be from the store or from the garden. Some may be vegetable, perennial, annual, or native flowers, or nuts and tree seeds.
Seeds need to be disease free, regionally grown, and packed in individual packages with name, date collected and any planting or growing tips.
Local experts will be answering questions. Experts at events such as this often pass out business cards so people can follow them online or keep in touch.
The Seed Swap will take place Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at 92 Carnwath Farms Lane.
