The Hudson Valley Fair will be returning to Wappingers Falls in late April.
The amusement ride line up will include the traditional Ferris wheel, bumper cars, zipper, and carousel, and thrill rides like Zeus, Super Himalaya and Super Cyclone Roller Coaster. They may also include new ones like AI, Space Flyer 110', Ice Jet, Jet Fighter and Wave Swinger. A Kiddies Land will feature rides for the little ones including jeeps, tractors, helicopters, motorcycle jumping and a balloon wheel. Tickets are $1.50 and wristbands starting at $29 are good for all-day. Most rides will cost multiple tickets.
Midway games will include Break a Bottle, fishing, Skee ball, Lucky Ducky and Water Gun Fun.
Standard fair food will be sausage, cheesesteak, popcorn, cotton candy, funnel cakes, chicken, gyros, ice cream and pizza all washed down with lemonade.
Other activities may include a petting zoo, pony rides, aerial acrobatics, high wire stunts, and comedy circus acts. Vendors will be selling toys, crafts, and seasonal decor. Local small businesses often hawk their goods and services and pass out Promotional Products such as promotional Pens, Mugs and head bands. Kid's Activity stations will offer face painting, bubbles, informal character meet and greets, and sand arts.
Live music usually features Hudson Valley cover bands.
Admission and parking will be free.
This year's Hudson Valley Fair will take place April 29th through May 3rd at Dutchess Stadium, 1500 NY-9D.
