Wappingers Falls folks who enjoy dancing while supporting a good cause may want to spend some time at the King & Queen Sneaker Ball Gala coming in late March.
Created to be an afternoon of community, fashion, and fun, the event will feature entertainment and live music provided by local DJ TeeWhy, along with dinner and dancing.
A Sneaker Showcase will display stylish footwear, and a recognitions and awards presentation will give a shoutout to some outstanding people in the community. A silent auction will feature unique items, sneaker collections, and other memorabilia.
Refreshments will be provided and the recommended attire will be semi-formal, although naturally guests are encouraged to wear sneakers. General admission is $125 plus a $10.23 fee if tickets are ordered on the event's website. Proceeds from this event will go to local youth programs, community outreach projects, and educational scholarships.
To get the word out, supporters of charity events such as this occasionally get some flyer printing done at their local Print shops and put up Flyers around their neighborhoods and workplaces. Businesspeople also bring Business Cards with them to events like this in order to do some networking.
The King & Queen Sneaker Ball Gala will take place from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, March 30 at Villa Borghese Caterers, 70 Widmer Road.
