Village readies for festival
The Village of Wappingers Falls Business & Professional Association is getting ready for its “2023 Festival at the Falls” coming in mid-June.
The event, which was organized seven years ago to showcase our town’s businesses and organizations, has become a family-oriented community day.
In Mesier Park, the festival will feature entertainment, children’s games and activities, musicians, local artist performances, Mesier Homestead tours, and pop-up tents with merchandise and services offered by local organizations, merchants, and businesses.
Mill, Market, and Main Streets in Wappingers Falls Central Business District will be rife with restaurant specials and sidewalk sales, and food trucks will be offering Hudson Valley treats.
Sponsorships are available at the Festival Friend $100, Supporter $125, Bronze $250, Silver $500, and Gold $1,000 levels. The three more expensive levels will come with social media promotion, the Festival Supporter $125 will get a vendor booth and year’s membership to WFPA, and Gold and Silver sponsors will get public recognition at the event.
Gold Sponsors, vendors, local businesses, and organizations participating in the festival need to get their banner printing done soon. Banners and signage at events such as this often include the name of the business and its logo design.
Festival at the Falls will be on Saturday, June 10 from noon to 6:00 pm. The rain date will be the following day, June 11.
