Hudson Valley Fair coming soon
Dreamland Amusements will be bringing its annual Hudson Valley Fair to Wappingers Falls for five days in early May.
Rides come in three categories – Spectacular, Major, and Family and Kiddie. The 19 colorful Spectacular rides will include The Wheel, Music Express, Superman 360, Alien Invasion, Spaceship 3000, and the Zipper.
The 17 classic Major rides will include jumbos, bumper cars, gravity rides, a firehouse maze, a carousel, haunted house, slide, and roller coaster.
Finally, 20 rides will be available to the younger set. These will include monster trucks, bumper cars, floating balloons, a slow-moving fiesta wheel, and fire engine, elephant, jalopy, and helicopter circles.
Carnival games will include break a bottle, fishing, lucky ducky, shootout, basketball, and water guns.
Families who attend this sort of event occasionally have colorful matching T-shirts sporting the family logo design, or a wacky graphic design made for each member.
Single tickets will be available for $1.50, but most rides will require more than one ticket. Wristbands are also available, and if purchased online, a discounted price will apply.
Hudson Valley Fair hours will be 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Wednesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 2nd; 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Friday, May 3rd; 12:00 noon to 11:00 pm on Saturday, May 4th; and 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm on Sunday, May 5th.
