Fun-packed business now open in Wappingers Falls
A new facility dedicated to family fun has opened in Wappingers Falls.
DC Sports has set up shop in the site of the former business known as Fun Central. Located on Route 9, it features indoor gold simulators, race car simulators, skee ball, large screen TVs, and a full service bar. In the spring, the outdoor bumper boats and mini golf will be revamped and one again be made ready for use.
Plans have also been put into place to remove the batting cages and install an outdoor beach volleyball area. It will be available for competitions or just for fun, and a tiki (exotic-themed) bar will also be set up.
The owner of the enterprise, Dan Pizzarelli, remarked that the business will combine the best features of a sports bar and family entertainment center into one, year-round facility. Along with the activities, there’s a full kitchen, and moms and dads can bring their wine or beer along with them or relax in the bar area while the kids have fun playing. A printer will be able to make custom drinkware for use in the establishment. It can also be sold to those who visit as a souvenir of their time there.
Those who are looking for a place to hold their child’s birthday party will be able to make use of one of its two “birthday party fun zones”.
