Diverse fair to return to Wappingers Falls
Wappingers Falls’ Duchess Stadium will soon be playing host to the Hudson Valley Fair.
The event will feature a variety of attractions, and there will be shows from a hypnotist, the Fearless Flares Thrill Show, a midway carnival, and lots of activities for kids of all ages to enjoy.
The Banana Derby will be back as well. This popular event features monkeys who act as jockeys that ride specially trained dogs around a track. These will take place several times a day, and the spectators will be able to visit with the monkeys after each race.
A petting zoo will be set up with a Texas longhorn, llamas, and other animals that are friendly and used to being around people.
