New chicken eatery comes to Nanuet
A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is now open in Nanuet.
Ellie Kim is the local owner-operator of the eatery, which has created approximately 100 jobs for the town. It is on E. Route 59 and is open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm. It offers carry-out, drive-thru, dine-in, delivery, and catering services.
Such new establishments often benefit from banner printing to attract residents and visitors to their offerings.
Kim expressed her gratitude for being able to open this Chick-fil-A in Nanuet, her hometown. In addition to being able to return to where her family lives, Kim said that this provides her with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with first responders, businesses, local schools, and residents. She added that she plans to have a welcoming space where everyone feels at home.
Kim plans to participate in the Shared Table program, which sees Chick-fil-A donate surplus food to local non-profit organizations. In addition, to celebrate the opening of the restaurant, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America. This money will be distributed to those in the greater New York area to help with hunger.
Formerly an attorney with degrees from New York University and Rutgers School of Law, Kim opened her first Chick-fil-A in 2006 in Washington, D.C. In 2018, she relocated to New York and opened a Chick-fil-A near Grand Central Station.
