Several activities will be coming to the Nanuet area in time for Christmas.
The Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Tree Lighting Orchard Street directly across from the Nanuet post office. Xtreme 4 Low will be collecting unwrapped gifts for Toy for Tots. This event will be next Saturday December 6 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Santa Claus will arrive at 6:30 pm, and the lighting of the tree will also take place at 6:30 pm.
The Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce will also be holding a Post-Holiday Nanuet Chamber Networking event. There will be a post-holiday party and the honoring of the recipients of the “Partnership in Progress” awards, which will go to the Nanuet Civic Associations and the West Nyack Rotary Club.
This will be at Banchetto Restaurant from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, January 6. The price of tickets in $45 for those who register before the event and for members of the honoree organizations. The price will be $50 for non-members and $55 at the door.
The Nyack Chamber of Commerce will also be hosting a tree lighting at the Gazebo on Main Street which may be of interest to residents of nearby Nanuet. Featured at this event will be performances by the Bossy Frog Band and the Rockland Ukulele Orchestra, as well as a visit from Santa Claus. This will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, December 5.
Such events can be promoted throughout respective towns and neighboring communities with poster printing.
