Street fair returns to Nanuet

The Nanuet Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 12th annual Street Fair next month.

The Street Fair features vendors selling collectibles, jewelry, and handmade crafts with additional showcases from businesses. There will also be food trucks selling a wide range of food as well as beer and wine. The main stage will have live entertainment all day. Among the groups performing will be The Sundogs, The After Party, and The Georgia 5 with a 1980s dance party.

There will also be activities for children with a Kids Zone offering bouncy houses and performances by local martial arts and dance groups as well as rides for the kids from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A wristband at a cost of $20 enables children to ride all day.

There will also be a Car and Jeep show on Prospect Street from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Trophies for the show will be awarded at 3:00 p.m. Mimosas and donuts will be offered by the Nanuet Chamber from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. while supplies last. Troop 33 of the Boy Scouts will open the day with a flag ceremony and students from the Nanuet High School Concert Choir will perform the national anthem.

Flyer printing can be used to promote such annual events throughout a town and neighboring communities.

The Street Fair will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday June 7.
