The SUNY Reconnect is a new initiative that is being rolled out at Rockland Community College (RCC) in Suffern this fall, so that more New Yorkers can earn a college degree.
This initiative is designed for residents of New York State who are between the ages of 25 and 55, have no college degree, and are planning to study either part-time or full-time in an eligible degree program. The initiative covers the cost of fees, tuition, supplies, and Books, and does not cover the cost of housing. Eligible residents of nearby Nanuet might want to take advantage of this program.
Among the programs at RCC to which students can apply under this initiative are healthcare science, nursing, math and computer science, and engineering science. The use of brochure printing is one approach that can be taken to provide more details about such initiatives and programs.
The President of RCC, Dr. William Mullaney, said the SUNY Reconnect aligns with the mission of Rockland Community College to provide those in the community with a purpose-driven and high-quality education that is accessible and affordable. He added that this will be an opportunity that can change the lives of many adult learners to build the skills needed for the job market of today.
Those interested in the initiative should apply to RCC, complete the required financial aid form, register for six or more credits, and complete and submit the SUNY Reconnect Attestation Form.Get a Free Quote for Books
