Volunteers with the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center – just outside of Merrick, NY – are hosting a songwriting workshop that will help individuals learn the art and craft of writing songs.
The event will be held by Fred Raimondo, a local songwriter with many songs to his credit. Raimondo has held numerous such workshops before, and attendees have noted his ability to create songwriting workshops that are held in a supportive and caring environment. Raimondo will draw on his extensive songwriting experience – and that of the groups – to help each songwriter tap their potential and write the best song possible.
Organizers say that this event is ideal for songwriters of all levels and will allow attendees the chance to network and meet other songwriters and artists. Anyone who attends this event may want to bring Business Cards, as organizers note that attendees may find opportunities to work with songwriters in the future.
This event is being held every Wednesday until June 5. It is an adults-only class, and runs from 6:30pm until 8:30pm at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, located at 76 Main Street in Westhampton Beach. Different sessions focus on different topics, meaning that missing one class does not mean that you can’t attend another in the future.
