A live reading of a children’s story will be looking to attract young children and their families for a fun time.
Hosted by The Jester & Pharley Phund, this event is a live reading of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle. This children’s book based on the themes of resilience and the healing power of laughter. In addition to the story, this interactive event features play and arts and crafts related to the book’s themes.
The story is about how The Jester loses his joviality after a hard time, but soon finds ways to remember to laugh at life’s challenges. The event is free to attend, with on-site parking available for visitors.
The story time is a fundraiser for The Jester & Pharley Phund. The non-profit foundation provides Copies of The Jester Has Lost His Jingle to children’s hospitals and schools all over the country. The foundation supports children living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses as well as literacy and character education in the classroom. The organization’s mission is using laughter and reading as tools to comfort and inspire children in difficult circumstances. Promotional Products at events can be used to raise funds at events.
The Jester & Pharley Phund will host its interactive story time event at The Nesting Place in Merrick on Saturday, November 15th from 12:30 p.m to 1:30 p.m.
