Merrick residents who are looking to add a bit of excitement to their lives will have an opportunity to do so this spring with the opening of a highly anticipated carnival.
The Merrick Train Station Carnival will be opening its gates soon, courtesy of Dreamland Amusements, and guests will be greeted by several exciting and colorful rides. Among the most anticipated rides are Superman 360, Zeus, Starship 3000, and Music Express. Many of the rides provide a high-speed experience that is designed to fuel adrenaline rushes.
The Zeus is sure to draw crowds due to its power, which sends riders spinning sideways at pace. Superman 360 offers a similar experience, with riders traveling in a complete circle as their seat spins in the air. The Music Express has long been a favorite due to the high-speed experience paired with its colorful lights. Print shops can help organizers by providing marketing materials, single-use maps, and ride tickets at such carnivals.
Starship 3000 will take riders on a trip through the Milky Way, while Sea Dragon will give them butterflies as it swings skyward. The evening will be capped off with the Mulligan Patriot Wheel, a 48-foot Ferris wheel.
The carnival is scheduled for Thursday, May 21st, starting at 5:00 PM. It will be held at LIRR Merrick Station on Nagle Court. Unlimited ride tickets are $42, single-ride tickets are $1.50, and admission is free.
