There are two events taking place in Merrick next month that will get people ready for the gift-buying season.
The first event is the Fall Festival presented by the St. John's Church Council. It will feature a variety of vendors selling arts and crafts and other merchandise. Organizers are still accepting applications for vendors. There will also be plant and bake sales and raffles. The festival will have craft activities for children, as well as a bounce house.
Later on in the month, the Art, Craft and Gift Show will be held over two days, featuring vendors, food trucks, and bounce houses. Vendor spaces cost $45 a day in advance or $50 on the day and $85 for two days for arts and crafts, $180 for larger businesses, and $105 for a food truck.
