Local artists and merchants are preparing for the Merrick Spring Festival Art, Craft and Gift Market scheduled next month.
Parking and admittance to the festival are free to the public and everyone is invited to attend. The festival allows people to meet and talk directly with craftspeople and artisans in the community. There will be a huge variety of exciting items to purchase and many special discounts are offered at the event.
Available items will include gift products, packaged foods, and numerous works of art. Many local charitable groups are also planning to be in attendance, allowing an opportunity to learn more about the great works taking place in the community and to find out how to contribute or volunteer towards these causes.

The event will be located at the intersection of Sunrise Highway and Merrick Avenue and will run from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on both days.
