Officials at Congregation Ohav Shalom Merrick will be going forward with their second annual Senior Expo.
This event – which is open to the entire community – will give local seniors the chance to learn more about the products, services, and events available to them.
According to local officials, the event will have many components. Chief among them will be exhibitor tables from local businesses, government offices, and non-profits. These businesses will be handling out information about who they are, what they do, and how they can serve the public. Attendees will be able to take home information and Promotional Products from these businesses.
Officials have also announced that there will be numerous panel discussions, raffles, and a question-and-answer session. There will also be a gift bag giveaway, sponsored by Silver Lining Homecare. The event itself is being sponsored by Long Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Care, the New York State Department of Public Service, and the Parker Jewish Institute Health Care and Rehabilitation.
The event is on June 27, and runs from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. It is being held at Congregation Ohav Shalom, which is located at 145 S. Merrick Avenue, Merrick. This event is free to attend.
