Merrick Fall Festival to return this year

Officials from the Merrick, New York Chamber of Commerce have announced that the Merrick Fall Festival will be returning.

This three-day event features an opportunity for community members to spend time with their families, support local businesses, and enjoy the greater Merrick Community.

According to information supplied by organizers, the event consists of two parts. There will be the Fall Carnival, which features rides and games, and there will also be the Street Fair, which will allow local businesses and vendors the chance to sell products, distribute information, and give out Promotional Products about their business.

Businesses and non-profits can still sign up to participate in the event. Since this event is organized by the Merrick Chamber of Commerce, Chamber members can sign up for free. Merrick businesses will pay $200, Non-Merrick businesses $275, and non-profits $75.

There is no admission for individuals to attend the event. There will be, however, plenty of food, drinks, and local businesses to support, so attendees should grab their wallets and come prepared to enjoy all that the festival has to offer.

The three-day experience runs from October 20 - 22, Friday through Sunday. Rides are open from 6:00pm to 11:00pm on Friday, 11:00am to 11:00pm on Saturday, and 11:00am to 8:00pm on Sunday. The street fair will run from 10:00am to 6:00pm throughout the event.
