An event that can help to make the years ahead their best ones yet is on the way for Merrick’s older adults, and everyone is welcome to stop by and check it out in person for themselves.
The planners of the Herald Senior Health and Beyond Expo have worked with a variety of area businesses and not-for-profit groups to create an event they hope will have lots of value for those who attend. Advance registration is required, and admission is free.
Guests at the gathering will be able to meet with a wide selection of service providers and other vendors, and as they will each have a representative on site, the participants will be able to ask them questions directly. Guest speakers have been booked, and a prize draw is on the agenda. Refreshments, parking and a variety of health screening will be available at no cost.
Many of the businesses included in the expo will be contributing Promotional Products to include in swag Bags for distribution during the celebration. These may be obtained from a local printer, which will be able to offer options at various price levels.
The Herald Senior Health and Beyond Expo is set to take over Temple Beth Am in Merrick on Thursday, October 13. The doors will be open starting at 10:00 am.
