A local restaurant is to welcome Santa just hours before he sets out on his annual international tour.
The Parlay Gastropub is giving children the chance to socialize and dine with their favorite festive personality. The Brunch with Santa at Parlay event is expected to be a popular outing for families with children of all ages. Children are welcome to come and meet Santa while they enjoy a tasty midmorning meal. They could prepare for the perfect cover image for next year's Holiday Cards, as photographs with Santa are included in the event.
The Parlay Gastropub was listed among the Top 100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America by Open Table in 2015, out of more than 20,000 eateries reviewed. It is located at 210 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.
Santa will be in attendance at Parlay from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, December 23. There is no admission fee for the event and children age 10 and under dine for free. It is recommended that any interested parents reserve their table as soon as possible because of the limited seating and time schedule, and should call (516) 282-9909 to make a reservation.
