The Rock N Pasta Fundraiser is a community-wide event dedicating to helping homeless cats and kittens find their forever homes.
The Courageous Cats Rescue and Adoption is a non-profit organization operated only by volunteers and named after the adopted pet of the founder. The goal of the group is to improve the lives of feral cats throughout New York. The fundraiser will help to raise funds to support the programs offered by the organization.
The group removes feral cats from the streets, has each one spayed or neutered, and a complete wellness check is performed before the animal is made available for adoption.
The event will include dinner, dessert, and plenty of beverages. There will be raffles and door prizes throughout the evening, and live music presented by the AristoCATS. Merrick area residents that would like to volunteer their time or fundraise for the company through brochure printing or flyer printing can contact the rescue for more information.
The fundraiser is scheduled for April 7 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Freeport Yacht Club located at 533 Guy Lombardo Avenue in Freeport. Tickets are available through the rescue website and are limited, so ordering in advance is recommended. The cost is $60 per couple and includes admission, dinner, and entertainment.
