Roosevelt Field Mall, located in Garden City just a short distance from Merrick, recently saw the opening of two new stores, with more planned for 2016.
These outlets are in the new, two-level retail wing, which is part of an expansion and renovation project for the Mall that is costing $200m. A Dining District, 50,000 square feet in size, opened earlier in the year and the stores that recently opened included Allen Edmonds, a clothing and casual shoes retailer for men, and Modern Creation München, which offers accessories and Bags.
According to Francis X. Scire, vice president of leasing for the Simon Property Group, these stores and the ones to come in 2016 will demonstrate the best brands of both international and American heritages, and give customers an exclusive and diverse opportunity to shop with brands that are the first of their kind on Long Island, such as The FYRE Company and Jonathan Adler.
Scheduled to open in February 2016 are JACHS, a company that sells Apparel for men and women; Neiman Marcus, a luxury department store; Robin’s Jeans, a boutique that sells shoes and denim shirts and jeans; and Suitsupply, which sells menswear.
