There are two craft fairs taking place early next month in Merrick. Both of these events help fund organizations and will no doubt get the public thinking of holiday shopping.
The first event will be the Lakeside Vendor Fair hosted by Levy Lakeside Elementary School. There will be lots of items available for sale that are suitable for gift-giving, including clothing, Stationery, handmade jewelry and crafts. Gift wrapping will be available. There will also be raffles and food and drink will be available for sale. Visitors can learn about upcoming camps while there.
During the same week, the St. John's Holiday Boutique is taking place. Presented by the St. John's Church Council, there will be a wide variety of items for sale, including arts and crafts, baked goods and plants. There will also be raffles and several children's activities. Vendor spaces are still available.
