The 18th annual Seaford Craft and Vendor Market is taking place this Labor Day weekend.
This event may attract more visitors from Merrick this year since that community's annual Fall Festival which has always featured an arts and crafts show has been canceled for this year.
This will be a family-friendly market. Dozens of vendors will be selling unique and handmade items like jewelry, candles and clothing. Accessories, works of art and decorations will also likely be available. Food and drink will be sold as well.
This will be an excellent opportunity for guests to start thinking about Christmas and other holiday gifts, most will no doubt find a gift suitable for a family member, friend or work colleague that does not cost a lot of money.
For the children, there will be lots of fun activities taking place such as face painting and inflatable bounce houses.
People from Merrick and other areas may find out about events such as this from advertisements provided by local printing services companies. Those advertisements may come in the form of Flyers, Posters and Banners.
The craft and vendor market will be held at the LIRR Station at Jackson Avenue and Sunrise Highway from September 5 to 7. Admission is free of charge.
