The Calhoun High School Alumni Association is getting ready for a night of “dining, dancing, reminiscing and recognition” as it welcomes over a dozen new individuals into its alumni hall of fame.
The event is meant as a dinner and dance, and will formally induct multiple members of the Merrick community into the Calhoun High School Hall of Fame. Specifically, the event will welcome individuals from a wide range of classes, running the gamut between the Class of 1967 and Class of 2009. Select teachers, coaches, and guidance counselors will also be admitted to the Hall of Fame.
The night will include multiple components, with a cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and an open bar all on the agenda, as well as the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Individuals who attended Calhoun High School – or are related to someone who is being inducted into the Hall of Fame – are encouraged to attend to meet up with old friends and share memories.
The event will be on Friday, April 28, starting at 7:00 pm. It will be held at The Bayview, located at 395 Woodcleft Avenue, in Freeport.
