The Children's Halloween Festival is returning to Long Island this year on Halloween itself.
There are plenty of family-friendly activities for visitors to take part in at the festival. Of course, everyone who attends is encouraged to wear a costume. The activities will include line dancing to country music, pony and hay rides, and a seasonal petting zoo. The Con Edison Ecology Booth will also be on hand.
The Amazing Maize Maze will be open. This three-acre maze features interactive games where participants solve puzzles from clues they find. The Haunted Farmhouse will also be open. Before this, it can be visited on October 24 and 25 for a $4 fee if paid in advance, or $7 at the door.
All activities are available for a single entry fee of $20 for those aged three and over.
The festival is a popular annual event in the area and attracts people from all over, including those from nearby Merrick. To ensure as many people as possible know about events like this, local flyer printing firms are often asked by organizers to provide marketing materials.
The festival will be held at the Queens County Farm Museum in Floral Park on October 31 from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Tickets must be purchased in advance. To learn more about this event, contact the museum at 718-347-3276.
