Freeport library to host afternoon painting event

Freeport Memorial Library will be hosting an afternoon painting event as part of its efforts to engage in the community, and ensure that locals can learn new skills and spend time together.

The event is designed for painters of all skill levels and those interested in graphic design, so it welcomes those who are brand new to painting or a seasoned expert, or anything in between.

Officials have noted that the event will be led by Eva Berger, a local artist. Berger is an experienced painter, visual artist, and teacher who lives and works in the Freeport area. Interested individuals can learn more about Berger, her business, her portfolio, and where to pick up Promotional Products by visiting her website.

According to the library, the event will feature step-by-step instructions on how to paint. This means event attendees can simply paint along with Berger, and leave with a completed painting. All materials will be provided by the library, so event attendees do not have to worry about bringing any equipment of their own.

The event will be held on Wednesday, January 31, and will run from 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm. Freeport Memorial Library is located at 144 W. Merrick Road, in Freeport, New York. A $5 fee is due to the registration desk at the time of the event.
