The annual Spring Kids Fest is taking place in Merrick on the last weekend of this month, and is a presentation of the Merrick Chamber of Commerce.
Proceeds will be donated to the Scholarship Fund for the Bellmore - Merrick High School District.
The festival will start off on Friday night with carnival rides suitable for people of all ages. All-you-can-ride wristbands will be available for purchase.
Saturday and Sunday will feature many more activities. There will be live entertainment such as magic shows, and no doubt plenty of child-friendly activities such as face painting and bounce houses.
A number of vendors will be on hand to sell general merchandise. They will also be selling arts and crafts such as homemade jewelry, artworks, and clothing. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. A business expo will also be taking place where local businesses will be there to showcase their latest products, and to provide information about their services.
Merrick flyer printing companies are frequently asked to provide printed advertising materials to help spread the word about such events.
The Spring Kids Fest will be held at Merrick Long Island Railroad station and Broadcast Plaza from April 26 to 28. Admission is free of charge. To learn more about his festival, contact the Merrick Chamber of Commerce at 516-771-1171.
