The Nassau County Women's Expo is taking place next month in nearby Baldwin. The event is a presentation of the Town of Hempstead Chamber of Commerce.
The theme of the expo is "Celebrating Queens" and it is a showcase for women-owned businesses and female entrepreneurs. Taking place in March as a recognition of Women's History Month, it is a way to promote the importance of women-run businesses and will give vendors the chance to showcase their newest products and services, as well as giving the public an opportunity to buy from them. The event organizers are still accepting applications for vendors.
This is also an opportunity for female business owners and entrepreneurs to network with one another and possibly create new partnerships. No doubt many Business Cards will be exchanged during the course of the day.
To make sure they get the most out of the expo, it is likely than most of the participating vendors, who will come from Merrick and no doubt further afield, will be investing in signage from local printing services firms. A well-displayed sign or banner will help to raise interest in their booths.
The expo will be held at Coral House on March 28 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. For more information, contact the Town of Hempstead Chamber of Commerce at 516-384-6416.
