Fans of Fallout in and around Merrick will get a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a world themed around the hit video game franchise.
Designed for adults 18 and older, the event invites participants to embrace the personas of vault Dwellers or Brotherhood of Steel members for an eight-hour cosplay photoshoot experience. The combination of detailed settings, a welcoming community of fans, and opportunities for high-quality photography make this a one-of-a-kind experience for Fallout enthusiasts.
Doors open at 11:00 AM for check-in, allowing attendees time to prepare and don their costumes. The first photo session will run from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM in a setting designed to replicate Vault 5. A second session will follow from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, utilizing the interior of the museum as a backdrop. Print shops can be used to make high-quality printouts of any photos taken at such events.
There will be two designated areas on both the first floor and second floor of the venue where costumes can be changed. Attendees can park for free in the allocated space without reservation. They are reminded to carry their own drinks and extra clothes to stay comfortable all day long. Since spaces are limited, advance ticket bookings are advised.
The Cradle of Aviation Museum will host the "Fallout Vault 5" Photoshoot on Saturday, December 7, a few miles north of Merrick.
