Local businesses have until the end of March to register for the popular Chamber of Commerce event.
KidsFest is an annual event that supports the Chamber’s scholarship fund for local school districts. The event will take place this year at Merrick Railroad Station, located at Sunrise Highway and Merrick Avenue. It will run from Friday, April 26 to Sunday, April 28. Businesses can set up displays on Saturday and Sunday during the event.
Vendors can choose to sell merchandise, set up advertising displays, or offer promotional items. Food vendors are not allowed in the lot and anyone with perishable items must include a Department of Health permit with their registration form.
The cost of participation is free for Chamber members and non-profits, $200 for businesses based in Merrick, and $275 for any business located outside of Merrick. All registered business will receive a 10 x10 advertising area for their displays.
It is suggested to register before March 31 to guarantee a spot. Registrants are expected to be on site both Saturday and Sunday and should be at the site and ready to set up by 8:00 AM.
Interested parties should complete and Print the form on the Kidsfest PDF and send it with a check for the registration fee to the Merrick Chamber of Commerce. The Mailing address for the Chamber is included on the registration form. If no check is needed, fax the form to (516) 223-1200
