The Baldwin Public Library will be partnering with the Association of Finance Educators to host several business workshops for members of the community.
A series of workshops will allow Baldwin residents to get a better understanding of how to manage their business, with the first one just a few weeks away. It will also give potential new business owners an overview of the skills involved in business management, allowing them to make better informed career decisions.
Experts will teach attendees a variety of skills, including how to start a business, manage cash flow, properly keep records, and stay organized. Other topics will include management skills and how to maintain a work-life balance.
Other events in the series will be held at a later date. Interested attendees are encouraged to keep an eye on the library’s website for more info.
Attendees will also be able to meet experts in the business field and potentially network with other new or aspiring business owners. As such, attendees are encouraged to bring an open mind, prepare to network, and be ready to pick up Business Cards.
A hybrid event, the in-person component will be held at the Baldwin Public Library, 2385 Grand Ave, just a four mile drive from Merrick. The event takes place on Wednesday, July 10, and runs from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Registration is required, but the event is free.
