The annual Monsters Ball is taking place this month in nearby Amityville, and is a presentation of Nocturnal Creatures NY.
While Halloween is seen as a celebration for the children, it is also a time when adults love to dress up. This event will give them the opportunity for that and to enjoy some good music as well. Among the groups that will be performing this year are SIN, a tribute band for Nine Inch Nails; Primus tribute act Pudding Time; and Black Circle Project.
There will also be a DJ dance party featuring Louis Lugosi and Tyranny. The side room of horror will have DJ Matty C spinning some seasonal tunes. Other activities include a costume contest and a zombie make-over artist.
Vendors will be on hand to sell arts and crafts and general merchandise. Tricks and Treats will also be available.
No doubt, this event will interest people from all over the area, including Merrick. Local printing services companies often provide advertising materials to encourage people to attend.
The Monsters Ball will be held at the Revolution Bar and Music Hall in Amityville on October 25 from 8:00 pm to 2:00 am. Tickets are $20 and restricted to those aged 18 and over. Visit the official Facebook page for the most current information about this event.
