There is a plan to transform the former Lord & Taylor in Manhasset into a SaksWorks space.
This will be a co-working space with wellness studio and a full-service café that will occupy the entire building, which is three stories high.
Hudson Bay, a former parent company of Lord & Taylor and the parent company of Saks Fifth Avenue, said that it has plans to convert some of the vacant stores into SaksWorks spaces. Richard Baker, CEO of Hudson Bay, said that highly personalized and elevated service has always been a hallmark of Saks Fifth Avenue. He added that this legacy of the company will now be extended to meet the hybrid workspaces of today.
Memberships in SaksWorks will be $49 for an individual for a one-day pass, $299 per month on a monthly basis, and $2,999 for a yearly membership. Those who might consider making such a space a permanent location for their office might want to turn to Stationery printing services for the creation of Letterheads and Business Cards.
SaksWorks offers open work environments with meeting rooms for video-conferencing, as well as lounge seating and nooks for more casual conversations. Wellness studios and health coaching services are also offered at each location.
Trenesa Danuser, a spokesperson for Hudson Bay, said that the space in Manhasset is expected to open sometime in the first quarter of this year.
