Christopher Pellettieri is now the new as the interim superintendent of the Manhasset Public Schools.

Pellettieri recently served as the superintendent of the Sachem Central School District. He was also the assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction for the Rockville Centre School District. He is also an adjunct professor at St. John’s University teaching Administrative and Instructional Leadership.
Pellettieri expressed his honor to be serving the school community of Manhasset as the interim superintendent for the upcoming school year. He said that he is looking forward to empowering its educators, supporting its students, and working closely with the Board of Education, the staff, and the families to continue the tradition of excellence in the school district.
Officials from the school district said that his experience will bring student centered leadership, academic excellence, and operational transparency to the district. They added that he is committed to innovation and academic rigor in diverse school communities.
The Manhasset Board of Education said that the passion for and thoughtful approach for education of Dr. Pellettieri aligns with the values and aspirations of the school district. The Board expressed its confidence that he will provide inspired and steady leadership at this time and said it is looking forward to working with him to support the academic success of the students in the district.
