Port Promenade will be held on Main Street in Port Washington next month. This is a block party that residents of nearby Manhasset might want to check out.
A popular festival for the summer, it is open to pedestrians only and is a family-friendly event. Municipal lots will be available for free parking, although people are also encouraged to take the Long Island Railroad (LIRR).
There will be dining outdoors, live music, shopping, street vendors, a bike rodeo, and activities for people of all ages. Over 100 Port Washington eateries and businesses will be open.
The live entertainment will feature Dexter Scully with special guests from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the LIRR, Those Guys Band beginning at 7:00 pm at Lennon’s Pub, and Bobby Garofalo from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Gino’s Restaurant. There will be a Silent Disco on Iram Avenue from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Lawn games will be near Port Washington Boulevard from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, while a foam party will take place from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Desserts, dining, and snacks will be offered by Aki Japanese Restaurant, Port Washington Diner, Uncle Louie G Italian Ice, and AP Ramen. Such unique events can be promoted throughout a town and neighboring communities with flyer printing.
Port Promenade will take place on Thursday, July 16 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
