The Healthiest Employers program run by Springbuk has recognized Northwell Health as one of the three healthiest companies in the country.
This recognition is based on a comparison and measurement of 100 points across six essential values, and it is the sixth year in a row Northwell has placed in the Top 10 of the Healthiest 100 Places to Work in America. North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset is one of the hospitals in the Northwell health system.
The health assessment categories examined by Springbuk include strategic planning, reporting and analytics, marketing and communications, culture and leadership commitment, programming and interventions, and foundational components.
Northwell highlighted three programs as at the heart of its Healthiest Employers program application process. These were exercise challenges that have served as education and engagement; overdose awareness training; and an initiative on domestic violence awareness.
President and CEO of Northwell, Dr. John D’Angelo, said that this ranking celebrates the commitment made by Northwell to be healthy together, with support from a culture that enables everyone to bring their resourced together to help all in the community live healthier lives and thrive.
Such hospitals often turn to banner printing at their various locations to inform the community of their proudest recognitions.
Northwell was only outdone by first-placed Harris Health of Bellaire, Texas and runner-up BankUnited of Miami Lakes, Florida.
