What's Happening in Manhasset, NY…

Manhasset ranked as one of best high schools

The annual list of U.S. News & World Report selected Manhasset Secondary School as one of the best high schools in the state of New York.

It ranked fourth best on Long Island and number 23 out of 1,276 schools across the state. A survey by Niche ranked Manhasset as number 16, closely following Syosset and Great Neck South.

In the U.S. News & World Report list, schools are ranked based on how well they prepare students for college, graduation rates, and their performance on tests required by the state.
News of such recognitions can be made known throughout a school and general community with flyer printing.

Ted Post, president of the Manhasset Board of Education, expressed his praised in the teachers, students, families, and administrators at the high school for earning this important recognition. He added that being named among the very best on Long Island and one of the best schools in the state demonstrates the spirit of the community. He said that:

“Manhasset has always been a place where people rally together in support of our children, and this honor belongs to all of us.”

Dr. Richard Roder, principal of the high school, also gave credit to the entire community in saying that it is a collective effort that leads to the school’s success, and it reflects what can happen when a school is supported by the community coming together.
