Tony’s Di Napoli, a classic Italian restaurant in New York City, is planning to open a new location in Manhasset.
It will be on the Miracle Mile in Manhasset, which was once TGI Friday’s on Northern Boulevard. Banner printing is often used at such sites to inform passersby of upcoming establishments. The Miracle Mile is a hotspot for restaurants and luxury stores, and a shopping destination that ends with the Manhasset Americana.
Stuart Wetanson, third generation owner of Tony’s Di Napoli, said this area is ideal for the restaurant. He added that the eatery will fill a lack of family-style Italian eateries on Long Island and bring something new to the community.
This location in Manhasset will have the same service, food, and other offerings as the New York City location. Wetanson said that the décor will align more with the Long Island locale.
The first location of Tony’s Di Napoli opened in 1990 on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, with the second opening in 2002 in Times Square. Both locations offer dine-in, delivery, and takeaway options. In the 35 years the restaurant has been in business, it has become a destination popular with both tourists and native New Yorkers.
Tony’s Di Napoli plans to open early next year, although no definite date has been confirmed as yet.
