Honey lovers to make a beeline for Island Park area event

Bees are one of nature’s hardest workers, and during an Island Park area event, the fruits of their labors will be taking center stage.

Honeys from all over the world will be just one of the attractions at the Sweet Bee’s Honey Festival, and a huge assortment of food prepared using this ingredient will be on offer for the guests to sample and enjoy. There will also be craft beers, wines and spirits, specialty foods, and lots of other products to browse through.

The venue for this celebration will be the Cradle of Aviation Museum, and those who attend the festival will be welcome to browse through the museum and take in its exhibits. There will be many honeybee-themed displays, film screenings and even a scavenger hunt, and kid friendly activities have also been included in the agenda for the day. There is lots of free parking available on site, and anyone who plans on attending can select the entry time that works best for them.

The price to attend this year’s Sweet Bee’s Honey festival start at $15 for adults and $10 for children, and a discounted ‘5PM Special’ ticket option is also being offered. Printing services for an annual event like this can be provided by an area printer.

This salute to bees and the honey they make will be open to the public on November 4. Anyone who needs more details can find them on the festival’s online listing.
