Island Park shops at summer celebration

This summer, Island Park residents will be heading to an area venue to enjoy a day of shopping.

The Freeport Craft and Gift Show will wrap up July with a day of celebration that will be cooled by ocean breezes. There will be fun for everyone in the family, and it will showcase the small businesses that call the Nautical Mile home.

The public that plans on attending can take advantage of ample free parking, and when it comes to a bite to eat, they can choose from 20 restaurants. There will be party and fishing boats offering scenic cruises, and it is anticipated that it will attract at least 1,000 shoppers.
The organizers of the celebration are interested in hearing from any small businesses or not-for-profit groups that would like to take advantage of this opportunity to connect with the public. The rate being charged for a space depends on whether it's being booked by a vendor, service provider or charity.
