The Henrietta Garden Club will be holding its annual plant sale at Tinker Nature Park in Pittsford later this month.
The plant sale will feature hundreds of varieties of plants from perennials to annuals, Edibles to ornamentals, as well as indoor and outdoor plants, all at reasonable prices. Organizers are promising ideal plants for people of all tastes. These plants have been propagated by members of the club, donated by gardeners, and taken from people’s landscaped homes, all potted and ready to find their new permanent home.
There will also be a “New To You” sales initiative that will have gardening and plant supplies, slightly used tools, pots, and gear, in addition to bird houses and feeders.
Such annual events often take advantage of poster printing to promote themselves throughout a town.
The Henrietta Graden Club is a group of gardeners who are active and like to teach, learn, socialize, and demonstrate their love for the community by beautifying many of the Signs in gardens around town. Among these gardens are the signs of “Welcome To Henrietta” and signs along Calkins Road, such as the one at the Recreation Center, Town Hall, Veterans Memorial, and Senior Center. The plants in the town hall atrium are maintained by the Garden Club.
This plant sale will take place on Saturday, May 17, from 9:00am to 3:00pm, or until all the plants are sold out.Get a Free Quote for Edibles Get a Free Quote for Signs
