New chicken eatery planned for Henrietta

The final site plan for a new Raising Cane’s restaurant in Henrietta has been approved by the Planning Board.

Located on Jefferson Road, the eatery will be close to 3,500 square feet and will have outdoor seating, parking, and a drive thru. A permit for special use was approved by the Henrietta Town Board in March to allow for these services of indoor and outdoor seating, takeout, and a drive thru.

The restaurant will be one story tall, and the two lanes of the drive thru will wrap around the building, with an additional lane to bypass this service. There will be about 32 parking spaces on site, two of them being accessible.

Jefferson Road will have a new connection to the sidewalk as part of the plan. The entrances to Minotti Crossings from Clay and Jefferson Roads that currently exist will be used to access the site.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week. The hours for Sunday through Thursday will be from 10:00 am to 1:30 am, and on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:30 am. On average, 13 people will be working each shift.

Banner printing is often used at such commercial and community sites to alert residents to the openings of eateries, offering a high-visibility way to announce newly available dining options in town.

No opening date has been determined for the restaurant as yet.
