Dunk and Bright Furniture, based in Syracuse, will be moving into what was once Burlington Coat Factory in the South Town Plaza in Henrietta.

President of Dunk and Bright Furniture, Joe Bright, expressed his enthusiasm about the move. The store will offer prices for all kinds of customers, ranging from value to designer brands. Interior designers will also be on hand to help customers. Bright said that the store offers many products made in this country. Such stores can benefit from brochure printing to provide more details about specific items.

The store spans 72,000 square feet and between 20 and 30 people will be hired to work in it.

Repairs are also planned for part of the parking lot. The iconic South Town Plaza sign was purchased by Dunk and Bright. Steve Schultz, town supervisor, said the lettering has been removed from the sign and added that it will remain in place with new Dunk and Bright lettering. An amount of $5m is being invested in the space, which includes the sign, the parking lot, and a portion of the plaza.

Schultz also expressed his excitement about the new store, adding that Dunk and Bright has been cooperative and supportive in the efforts to renovate the plaza.

Dunk and Bright Furniture is expected to open in April or May this year.
