Markson’s Furniture & Mattress, which has been in northwest Rochester for over 20 years, has moved and is now open in Henrietta.
The store is now on Winton Place, near the town line with Brighton and behind The Distillery bar and restaurant.
David Angarano, president and co-owner of Markson’s, said the location in Henrietta is more convenient for those from the Southern Tier and for people from the east side. He added that the building was ideal as it has its own parking lot and is easy to get to. Banner printing can be used at such sites to announce the opening of stores and the benefits of their new location.
The store in Henrietta is run by Dan Angarano and spans 12,000 square feet. With 23 employees, it offers the same inventory as the store in Rochester and focuses on American brands, including Tennessee Custom Upholstery, Restonic, HomeStretch, and Ashley.
David Angarano said the store always guarantees that its prices are the lowest, so it avoids seasonal sales. He will give customers the opportunity to compare prices and the store will always match that price or offer a lower one.
The store hours are from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday and from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday. The store is not open on Sundays or major holidays.
