Five new tenants will be joining the Marketplace Mall in Henrietta.
The Marketplace Mall will become a mixed-use complex that will have dining services, housewares, entertainment, retail and medical space, and lodging. Mike Surtel, general manager of the Mall, expressed his thrill in welcoming these new businesses to the Mall.
Juan & Maria’s, a popular shop for empanadas, will be run by Benjamin Contreras and his wife, Melissa. Benjamin is the son of Juan and Maria Contreras, who opened the shop in 2000. Benjamin and Melissa plan to preserve the family recipes and environment.
ZOKE, Floor and Décor, and Pita Chik will also be coming to the Mall. ZOKE is a locally owned bar and grill and will be at the East Entrance to the Mall. Pita Chik is also locally owned and will feature farm fresh Mediterranean cuisine. Floor and Décor features a wide selection of affordable fixtures, tile, flooring, and decorative accents for completing home renovations. It will take up most of the space that was once occupied by Macy’s. These three retail establishments are expected to open next year.
Such new establishments can take advantage of Promotional Products to attract new customers once they are opened.
Construction is expected to begin this month on the Marketplace Senior Apartments, which will be a residential community for those 55 years of age and older. This project is expected to be completed in Spring 2024.
