Henrietta-based company announces new major order

Vuzix Corporation, headquartered in Henrietta, has announced a wholesale distributor that provides services and solutions to retailers and resellers throughout Canada, has place a major order with the company.

Vuzix supplies smart glasses and technology for augmented reality, and the order comes from CAMtria. June Herron, Director of Purchasing at CAMtria, expressed her excitement about partnering with Vuzix as it is a company that will enable workers in Canada to be more efficient and safer on their everyday tasks and will help companies in Canada to navigate the evolution of Industry 4.0.

President and CEO of Vuzix, Paul Travers, said that the order from CAMtria strengthens the presence of the company in Canada as there are many growth opportunities for smart glasses from the company in the several markets which it serves. He added that Vuzix is looking forward to creating a distribution relationship with CAMtria that will grow in the future. Announcements of such significant orders and their benefits for a company are often made known throughout an industry with flyer printing.

This order comes after Vuzix signed a distribution agreement with Capestone bv, a distribution company based in the Netherlands, and received a stocking order from the company for its smart glasses for immediate delivery. Capestone has offices in Germany and the Netherlands and is a leading distributor Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg) union.
