Millennium Games has moved to a new location in Henrietta.
The store is well-known and sells tabletop and board games. Its new location covers 28,000 square feet, which the co-owners, Travis Severance and Rob Harrington, say makes it the largest store of its kind in the country. The new store has numerous board games, a dedicated family game section, trading cards, and a disc golf section, among many other features.
Such new stores can turn to Promotional Products to help market themselves and their brand throughout a community.
An event space is the centerpiece of the store and can hold close to 400 players. It will host local, regional, and national events but people can play there by spending $10 at the store and getting a wristband.
Severance said this expansion is a big step for the store but events over the past few years and a great deal of support from the community have made the move possible. He said that once people were able to come in and shop, they began to appreciate the entertainment they could take home and enjoy, many for the first time. He added that this new location was ideal given the combination of parking options, rent, and the amount of space.
The new store is on Jefferson Plaza in the Tops Plaza in Henrietta.
